For my final year of university, I was chosen to be the Director of Photography for Julienning Julian. In this role I was able to have more freedom with creativity as I had to create the shot list and have more of a critical understanding of the shots that were wanted.
I enjoyed this role thoroughly as we worked in an interior environment throughout the whole shoot, setting up and moving equipment was efficient as our crew was within University premises.
Having received the script from our Director, the script was very simple in terms of narrative with a linear story line which didn’t have too much issues in terms of continuity for the edit, this therefore made it easy to communicate with the editor and the first assistant director.
